This Friday also marks the end of the second quarter. Report Cards will be posted on Wed. Jan. 16th by Noon.

Christmas Mass Times

St. Albert the Great will be celebrating Christmas with Mass on Christmas Eve at 5:00PM with the Children's Choir singing, 8:00PM, and MIDNIGHT. Christmas Day Mass will be at 10:00AM. All are welcome to celebrate Christ's birth with us!

Tuition Assistance Deadline is February 28, 2019

for the 2019-2020 School Year

Now is the time for all families with one or more children (Kindergarten-8th grade) enrolled in or applying to a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Louisville to apply for tuition assistance for the 2019-2020 school year. Families must submit their application, 2017 Federal tax return, 2017 W-2’s, and other non-taxable documentation along with the $25 processing fee by February 28, 2019.

Parish membership is not required to receive tuition assistance. Preschool students are not eligible for financial assistance.

Tuition assistance applications must be submitted between December 15, 2018 – February 28, 2019. Go to www.ceflou.org to apply. For assistance in filling out the online tuition assistance application please contact FACTS via their helpline at 1-866-441-4637. For St. Albert specific questions regarding tuition assistance please contact Lisa Kleyer at (502) 425-3940, x103 or lkleyer@stalbert.org.

Students Library Council, for 6th-8th graders, and Storytelling Club for 4th-8th graders. Interested students may email Mrs. Brown (cbrown@stalbert.org) for a permission slip or pick one up. Slips must be turned in by January 7. Club descriptions are below:

Student Library Council

The Student Library Council is a service club that interacts with and serves the library and school. Members may brainstorm and experiment with new maker-activities and materials, create maker-product videos/library displays, organize book clubs, recommend new literature, create book talks/trailers or maker-blog posts, and shelve books, among other duties the council deems as important. The council will meet at least twice each month and offer services at our Reading Celebrations.”

The Viking Gala Silent Auction Needs Your HELP

A sincere THANK YOU to those who have secured an item or service for our Silent Auction. However, in order to make this event a success we are in need of more items/services. Christmas break provides a great time to talk with a family member or friend about donating an item to the auction. GATE & CONCESSION DUTIES

Winter Sports Families:

After Tuesday December 11th families who have not signed up for concession and gate duty will be assigned a shift.

CSAA ST ALBERT SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION

Registration for the St Albert Swim Team will open in SI Play on Monday, December 3rd. The $35 late fee begins on December 17th. Registration closes at midnight on December 23rd. No registrations will be accepted after the closing date.

Boys 3rd-8th Lacrosse is Back!

There will be a Winter League on Sundays from 1/6-2/24 at King Loui's Sports Complex. If interested email Brent Nash (nashes502@gmail.com) or Josh Hartlage (josh@adventfs.com) We will not offer a sign up through SI Play. Cost is estimated at $75. We are also in need of coaches for the 3rd/4th grade team!

SPIRIT WEAR SOCKS

Looking for some stocking stuffers? How about some Viking stockings!

SAAM will be selling blue or white spirit wear athletic socks in the concession stand at St Albert gym during basketball games. $15 per pair. Cash only. Don’t delay. They will sell out quickly.
