Letter from the Administration

Welcome Back! I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable Spring Break. It is hard to believe that we have just a short time left until summer break. I always find that these last weeks of school fly by so quickly. Remember to stop and take it all in. Some of these experiences only happen once so soak it all in and enjoy.

I recently downloaded The Complete Guide to Managing Behavior Problems from the Child Mind Institute. I wanted to share with you a portion of this guide related to managing big emotions. I do see this struggle with kids. Typically, we will see it in the younger years but it can continue through to the older students if they have not had any guidance on how to handle their feelings. I think this shares good tips that parents can implement to help kids begin to learn how to handle their emotions.

If you need help with your child(ren) please reach out to me. I know it can be tough to ask for help but remember that I am here for you and your child. Let me know if you need anything.

Have a great week!
