Annual Stewardship Form
St. Albert the Great Parish is made up of thousands of generous people giving their gifts of time, talent and treasure in support of our parish's mission to love, serve, and know God and one another. As part of our Annual Stewardship Renewal, this Tuesday we will be sending home Early Stewardship Forms to families currently attending St. Albert school (last year's Stewardship Renewal was delayed from Spring to October 2020 due to COVID-19).
The return of an annual Stewardship form is a requirement for you to receive Parish Tuition Rates for the 2021-2022 school year.
These "Blue Forms" are being sent out to you ahead of the parish-wide Stewardship Renewal in April to allow our parishioners with school children additional time to return the form before the end of the school year.
Please return this Early Stewardship form to the School Office by April 9th. Thank you.
Summer Solutions: ORDER NOW
Parents use promo code SUMMER3 before April 30, 2021, you will receive 10% off orders with 3 or more books.
They've made it as easy as possible for schools to offer Summer Solutions books this year! When you place orders online, ALL books are now delivered directly to your home!
Spring BReak Reminders
The Archdiocese has recommended that we proceed with our original school calendar regarding spring break: no NTI buffer as was recommended during the holidays.
Please take into consideration:
What type of travel are you and your family participating in?
A (car) trip to visit family in a remote or secluded environment vs flying and visiting a highly populated area/amusement park
The Archdiocese of Louisville recommends a 14 day quarantine after travel (A family that will be quarantining after spring break, will need to let Lindsay Finley know by Thursday, March 18, and will return to school Monday, April 19)
Anyone that has been fully vaccinated does not have to self quarantine
Non travel social gatherings to take into consideration:
Was the social gathering in a closed/confined area with little ventilation for an extended period of time?
Were there numerous unfamiliar attendees at the social gathering? Were masks worn?
We are asking that all families be cautious as we proceed ahead, and keep our St. Albert community, as well as all others, in mind as we make decisions regarding travel, gatherings, and quarantines.
Parish Pastoral Council -- Open Positions
It is with great pleasure to announce that it is time to begin the process of identifying new members for the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC). In consultation with the Pastor, the PPC actively listens to and identifies the needs and concerns of the parishioners and develops a parish pastoral plan to respond to these needs working closely with the parish staff. The Council also seeks to implement the plan by seeking the involvement of parishioners.
We are in need of 4 parishioners who possess the following qualities:
● A desire for spiritual growth in themselves and the Parish
● An enthusiasm about the future direction of the Parish
● A willingness to listen, to speak honestly and to work toward consensus
● The ability to inspire and empower others to delegate
● Flexibility and openness with people and ideas
What we are asking of you is the following:
● Consider if you have the above qualities, and if so, prayerfully consider nominating yourself
● Consider others within the Parish that you feel exhibit the above qualities and nominate them (with their approval)
Nominations can be sent to mamapesce@yahoo.com, subject line: PPC Nomination, or can be brought to the Parish office.
