We've almost made it!
We’ve made it to our last full week of school! Congratulations to all of us!
As I reflect on our Mission, we definitely have addressed some of our goals more this year than ever before. Our 2020-2021 school year has challenged us to “grow spiritually, and prepare us to be socially responsible people with strong Catholic beliefs, and to embrace diversity”. It has been a volatile year for our world, and we are so fortunate to have our faith, our school, and our St. Albert community to rely on and to support us during such difficult times. We could have never gotten this far without our faith in Him! Rejoice and be glad!
Ellen Martin

Seeking Host Families

For a detailed explanation and/or to sign up to be a Host Family, click on the Sign Up Genius Link. Keep in mind, this is for the upcoming school when you sign up for a particular grade. This role does not take up a lot of time, and means so much to our incoming families. Please consider hosting! For questions, email me at jrichardson@stalbert.org. Thank you!
East Coast Expedition 2022
For Current 7th Graders (Class of 2022)As many of you may have heard, we are in the beginning stages of discussing an East Coast expedition for next year.
As an educator, I have planned and led trips to the East Coast for 24 years. I am passionate about our students learning about this great country, experiencing it first hand, and at the same time learning so many “LIFE” skills that prepare students for high school and college.
We will meet in the Saint Albert the Great cafeteria on Thursday, May 20th at 6:00PM.
Please mark the date on your calendars and plan on attending.

Family Support: Mental Health Issues
After navigating through their own daughter's mental health crisis in late 2019 Blair and Gretchen McBride recognized there is a gap in support for families supporting their children with mental health issues or experiencing crisis.
After participating in the National Alliance for Mental Illness' training for group facilitators they've forming a NAMI Family to Family support group. The group will follow the NAMI format for support groups, which is designed to utilize the group dynamic to provide knowledge, encouragement and support.
The group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 7pm - 8:15pm at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish in the Parish Life Center. The first meeting will be Sunday, June 13th.
