Open Classrooms Day is scheduled for Monday, August 10. We will be following the drop off/pick up process and requiring masks to be worn while traveling inside the school. Sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building. This is an opportunity for students to find their homeroom, meet their teacher, and drop off school supplies.
If your contact information (home address, email, phone number, etc.) has changed recently or will be changing during the summer, please notify the school office by emailing Becky Fry (bfry@stalbert.org) and copying Bill Henderson (bhenderson@stalbert.org) with your new information.
All 1st-8th grade families NEW to St. Albert AND ALL incoming Preschool, JK, and Kindergarten families will have Parent Orientation on either August 4th or August 5th (see below for your specific session date/time). We will give you the 411 on everything you need to know before school starts. You will hear from our Administrators, various school staff including our Preschool, JK, and Kindergarten teachers, representatives from our different school organizations, learn more about new school procedures, lunch information, uniforms/spirit wear days, new carpool routes, how to get involved, and MUCH MUCH MORE! We will wrap up the session with Q & A. For the safety of our families and speakers, we ask that masks be worn, only one parent attends and children remain at home. Orientation will take place in the Parish Life Center.
We are looking for current St. Albert families (Preschool-7th) to act as "Host Families" for our new incoming school families. Would you like to help welcome and support our newest Vikings during their transition to St. Albert? This is a very exciting time for them and their children, but it can also be a little scary as they await all that comes with starting a new school, especially right now with the current pandemic conditions.
At St. Albert, we pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming community. For more information on the program and to sign up, go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0E4EABAD22A3F94-needed2. We anticipate additional families joining us throughout the summer. In that case, we will need more host families. If all slots are filled on the Sign Up Genius for your specific grade(s), but you are still interested in hosting, email Janelle Richardson at jrichardson@stalbert.org. Thank you!
In the link below, please find your child's incoming grade level for their summer reading list.
