Monday Memo
Week 19 | January 18-21
Letter from the Administration
"Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope." Martin Luther King Jr.
Whew! It was a very busy week last week. With our updated quarantine protocols and increased numbers of positive COVID cases, the school office was a whirlwind. I know we have all had the feeling of, “Now what?!” That was the feeling I had several times throughout the week last week!
During the crazy week, God continued to give me “stones of hope” to trudge up the “mountain of hope.” I am so thankful for the “stones” that helped me through the week: smiles, laughs, encouragement, empathy, supportive phone calls, supportive texts, treats, helping hands, shared responsibilities, friends, family, exercise… the list goes on and on.
The road is rough sometimes. The mountains can be very steep and wide. While conquering and trudging up our mountains, let’s focus on the stones of hope. These are God’s signs to us, to keep going, and He is with us.
I hope that you all continue to see God’s “stones of hope”.
Have a great week!

Sports ministry covid update
Dear Families,
As Covid-19 cases are back on the rise, we are experiencing more quarantines. If your child is quarantined, they cannot participate in sports as soon as you are advised of the quarantine, even if they are in the “test to stay program.”
If your child is quarantined, please contact Sports Ministry regarding the date your child can return to sports. Please provide this notice to your coaches so that they can ensure enough players for games and practice.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact April Wimberg (aprilwimberg@gmail.com) or Matt Simon (msimon3232@gmail.com)
