Remember When...
Remember when…
...You were in high school, and you KNEW what you were going to be when you “grew up”?
...You left high school, and KNEW who you were going to marry?
...You found out you were going to have a baby, and you KNEW what your baby would look like?
...You had a baby, and KNEW how many children you would have?
I remember thinking all of these things (that i KNEW), and I definitely remember when I was wrong, and God had other plans. So many times we have plans, whether big or small, and God has another idea for us. All of His changes are great reminders that although we may have our days, weeks and years planned out, God may not have that same plan.
With all of our plans to start easing some of our COVID regulations this week, God had another plan. We will continue to take our current precautions in preventing the spread of COVID until we feel like we are (again) at a safe point to relook at our school plan. My plan is to see where we are in two weeks in hopes to end the school year being able to relax some of our COVID regulations. (levels mingling at lunch, suspend temperature checks, and return to special area classrooms) We will see what God’s plan is at that time.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

Diaper Delivery
A preschool parent, Ms. Himel, asked if the preschool could collect diapers for Catholic Charities during lent. The collection was to demonstrate giving to others to our preschool students.
The preschool families brought boxes and boxes of diapers and we ended up with a total of 3,974 diapers. The pictures are from Catholic Charities after the diapers were dropped off.
We received a thank you note :
Ms. Himel, Ms. Zdunek and students of the 3's and 4's preschool class of St. Albert--
Thank you all so much for collecting and donating diapers to the Family Support Services department at Catholic Charities. The moms in our programs will be so happy to have these for their little ones! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Parish Pastoral Council -- Open Positions
It is with great pleasure to announce that it is time to begin the process of identifying new members for the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC). In consultation with the Pastor, the PPC actively listens to and identifies the needs and concerns of the parishioners and develops a parish pastoral plan to respond to these needs working closely with the parish staff. The Council also seeks to implement the plan by seeking the involvement of parishioners.
We are in need of 4 parishioners who possess the following qualities:
● A desire for spiritual growth in themselves and the Parish
● An enthusiasm about the future direction of the Parish
● A willingness to listen, to speak honestly and to work toward consensus
● The ability to inspire and empower others to delegate
● Flexibility and openness with people and ideas
What we are asking of you is the following:
● Consider if you have the above qualities, and if so, prayerfully consider nominating yourself
● Consider others within the Parish that you feel exhibit the above qualities and nominate them (with their approval)
Nominations can be sent to mamapesce@yahoo.com, subject line: PPC Nomination, or can be brought to the Parish office.

This free virtual workshop, which teens can attend with their parents, provides resources, and walks through many important driving topics, including impaired driving, distractions, drowsy driving and much more.
