SCHOOL ALERTS!
Just a reminder, we have sent out several text and email notifications this year. If you have not gotten a text this school year, submit a ticket and let us know:
- Your name
- Your Student(s) & Grade(s)
- Cell Phone & Email Address
NOTE: We cannot send out email and text alerts out simultaneously and it does take a little bit of time (about 5-10 minutes) to send a text to all 1,000+ people on our lists. We say that to say this: If your friend got the alert and you did not, please wait about 10 minutes or so, if you still don't get it, contact Mr. Henderson. We will send out a text message and an email for each alert. We no longer do robocalls.

She will be leaving St Albert by the end of April and we are looking for someone to fill the part time technology assistant position. We are so thankful for all that she has done the past couple of years for us. We wish her the very best.
While Melissa will still be around for a few months, we want to start the search for this position. If you are interested, please contact Bill Henderson: bhenderson@stalbert.org, or Ellen Martin: emartin@stalbert.org.

PARENTS AND VOLUNTEERS! Please answer a couple of questions – only takes a couple of minutes! We need YOUR help in making VBS happen!! We are looking at the week of June 10-13th to transform our campus into a African Safari Bible Adventure!
This epic African adventure engages the whole herd. At “Roar” kids explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life.

Now Enrolling: Junior Kindergarten!
St. Albert the Great Parish School is thrilled to announce our latest expansion! Starting with the 2019-2020 school year, we will offer a Junior Kindergarten (JK) class! JK is designed for children who miss the new Kentucky kindergarten admittance date of August 1, or those who may need an extra year of development to grow and mature before entering kindergarten. Your child must be 5 years old by November 1, 2019, and meet our JK class criteria.
Students will be guided through a developmentally appropriate curriculum that will lay the foundation for a successful transition into Kindergarten. This program will be staffed by a certified teacher, with a maximum class size of 15, and will mirror a modified Kindergarten classroom in layout, schedule and curriculum.
We are excited about this opportunity to continue to grow and invest in our school's future.
Space is limited. Now enrolling for 2019-2020. Please contact Principal, Ellen Martin, at (502) 425-1804 or emartin@stalbert.org, if you have any questions or wish to discuss Junior Kindergarten enrollment.

The PTO is now accepting your nominations for the following positions on the PTO Executive Board for the 2019-2020 school year!
We currently have one Executive Board position open for nominations: Vice President has a three (3) year term and requires one (1) prior year of service on St. Albert's PTO. As a parent at the school, you are automatically a PTO member so as long as you have been in the school for a year, you are eligible to run for office.
The positions of Past President (Laura Nash) and President (Chris Wahl) are closed as they are multi-year terms.
All nominees should show a strong commitment to the purpose of the PTO. You may nominate yourself or someone you think will honorably represent the position.
Please send in your nominations by February 15, 2019 to pto@stalbert.org.

There is an option to opt out of the screening if you so choose, but we must have the slip returned. There will also be a copy in the Tuesday Folder the week before the screenings. Please send in to your child’s homeroom teacher no later than Friday, February 22nd.
PTO Teacher Conference Dinners
It's hard to believe it, but Parent/Teacher Conferences are just around the corner and we need your help. In keeping with tradition, the PTO will provide dinner for our teachers on both evenings of the conferences (Feb. 12 and 13th) in the teachers lounge. We are looking for volunteers to help provide additional food items to make this a very special event for our teachers.
It is a wonderful way to show our gratitude to the teachers for all their hard work!! In addition it is an easy way to support the PTO if otherwise your schedule hasn't permitted.
